Welcome MoreDoor lovers, collectors, enthusiasts and the generally interested. We have another Weekly Feature from the bluegrass (one word - to correct my last Weekly Feature) state and the Relentless/Merciless CC. Representing MoreDoors Classics this week is the VP of the Derby City Chapter Tony F. and his 1964 Chevy Impala hardtop. I wasn't sure about her name at first, but Tony's explanation makes perfect sense. His Impala was appropriately named - SisterWife - by his real wife because she has to share him with his car. I'd be willing to bet that MANY of our cars could be named SisterWife too.
Tony has been able to live out one of his childhood dreams by owning a 1964 Chevy Impala. He traded his '93 Cadillac Fleetwood lowrider for a bone stock SisterWife about 4 years ago. He wanted to build a classic old school lowrider that was clean and simple. SisterWife is about as good an example as any I've seen of a lowrider. He also needed it to be reliable enough to be a daily driver. I for one think Tony has achieved what he set out to do. She's sure come a long way!
