Craig was not too excited by the 70’s interior so the wood grain interior was painted flat black, and the carpet was also dyed black for the updated look BUT he kept the leather seats as is. To top off the sleek gangster look, the windows have 5% tint all around. And he got all this done in 4 months! I am glad Craig was able to see past the wreck and followed through with this MoreDoor Classic.
Welcome MoreDoor lovers, collectors, enthusiasts as well as the generally interested. This week we have Craig J’s 1973 Cadillac Sedan DeVille from Evanston, WY and this Caddy has quite a story too. Craig paid $200 for this beauty! Of course, it was not quite this awesome when he took possession of it. The DeVille was bound for the demolition derby and was well on its way to being prepared for such an assignment and demise. Craig says it had bad body damage all down one side and the engine and transmission had been stripped.
Not being overwhelmed by the amount of work in front of him, he used his abilities and resources from Crazy Kids Crazy Paint and Customs LLC to get the bodywork and paint up to his standards. He finished the exterior in flat black with sketch style pinstriped flames in the factory green with silver accents. He installed a 350 and 700r4 he had laying around to get the Caddy back on the road. He also installed Flowmaster 50 Series exhaust, lowered the it about 5 inches and had a set of white walls on the original wheels along with the original hubcaps.
